We all know the saying: “a place for everything and everything in its place.”

Well, I say—how about a hook for everything?

I love a well-placed hook. When it’s in the right spot, looks great with the room’s vibe, and has a clear purpose, it’s one of the easiest ways to stay organized. Hooks are small but mighty—simple to install, space-saving, and they make daily life flow a little smoother.

Here are some of my favorite ways to use hooks to keep your home neat and functional:

1. Coats & Backpacks

No mudroom? No problem. A simple row of hooks can give you the same effect. Place them in a coat closet, by a side entrance, or even in a hallway—voilà, instant mini-mudroom.

2. Jewelry

Tangled necklaces are the worst. A necklace organizer with little hooks inside your closet keeps them neat, visible, and ready to wear—no more knots!

3. Ties & Belts

Tie and Belt  hooks are perfect for these. Everything stays easy to grab, easy to see, and wrinkle-free.

4. Hats

Some hats are just better hung up than stacked. A set of hat hooks on a wall inside a closet keeps them from getting crushed and makes them easy to find.

5. Wigs

When I first saw wig hooks, I thought they were genius! If shelf space is tight, wall space can do the job beautifully.

6. Stick-On Hooks

These are my secret weapons. I use them inside closet doors for tzitzis, sweatshirts, bathrobes, or towels. They’re so versatile—you’ll wonder how you lived without them.

7. Kitchen Towels & Oven Mitts

I love keeping towels and oven mitts right where I need them. Command Hooks are my favorite—they’re sturdy, removable, and don’t leave marks.

8. Playroom Closet

Hooks can be fun too! In a playroom, use colorful hooks to hang a few favorite costumes. Don’t overload them (clutter alert!), but a few displayed neatly can double as décor.

9. Pretty Closet Hooks

In a master closet, hooks can be both practical and beautiful. A pair of decorative hooks adds a little style while keeping robes, bags, or accessories within reach.

10. Broom Hooks

When the broom has a home, everything feels calmer. Wall-mounted broom hooks are perfect for closets or garages—they’ll also hold rakes, outdoor brooms, or even shovels.

See? A well-placed hook isn’t just about hanging things—it’s about creating order without overthinking it. Hooks are simple, stylish, and they just work
